Can you buy a cell phone (does not have to be a new one) to spy on my daughter's cell phone? Load it up ready to go, and if so, send me the bill and I will send you the money (VISA) asap.

If the state charges you with a crime and you win at trial, are they liable for damages? What if the police officer uses fraud in the complaint, such as lying and backdating the report, and you can prove it? Are they allowed to change the date of offense on the police report to a later date, and do the police need a warrant to obtain security camera footage?

In the continuing saga of my son and his girlfriend, I have a housing question. The girlfriend and my son rented an apartment for which the lease, which had both names on it, expired last June. The girlfriend moved out and we paid her back her deposit. My son continued living there without a lease. She moved back in two months ago, against our wishes, and began paying rent but has not paid any deposit. If my son has to move out, we are still liable for the deposit, and I am sure she does not have $1200 to pay us back. What are our legal and financial responsibilities, and can she be made to move out instead?

A former employee was terminated for gross misconduct under an Employment Contract with my LLC. The contract stipulated that severance is not payable under such conditions. The employee passed away, and now his spouse is suing for the severance payment. The contract also states that upon the employee's death, the estate is entitled to base compensation and bonus earned up to the date of death. The employee was paid base compensation earned up to termination, but no bonus was earned. Can the estate sue for the severance payment, and if so, what are the legal implications?
