Ex-wife is trying to sue me in a civil case stemming from our divorce. She has filed contempt of court charges against me, but I haven't been served with the papers yet. I have a daughter with ADHD who is not on medication and has been held back in second grade. The school is not meeting her IEP services and keeps suggesting medication. I want to know if I have the right to take her out of her current school and place her in a school that can better meet her educational and service needs.

I was wrongfully terminated and incarcerated by the same municipal entity, which was done to prevent me from filing an appeal in the 9th District Court of Appeals for my wrongful termination. I only have until August 9th to file a lawsuit for my unlawful incarceration. Can I use the federal case of wrongful termination to prove a pattern of misconduct and file a lawsuit under the 1983 Civil Rights Act?
