I recently learned about the UCC1 form as a method to get out of debt and stop foreclosure on my house. Am I correct so far? I live in Nassau County, Long Island, New York, and no paperwork has been filed. Is the UCC1 form the right approach, or should I consider bankruptcy instead?

I am being charged twice for my son's college loan by ITT Tech. His signed agreement with the college was for $40,000. I co-signed his loan, but I was unaware of a separate Parent Plus loan taken out in my name. I have documented proof that we are paying $80,000 for a $40,000 loan. The IRS is taking money out of my social security every month. How can I resolve this issue?

We paid for a new mobile home with Coastline Homes in Hancock Maine, and were told it was a 2017 Astro Single wide 14X44 home. However, after further inquiry, we discovered on July 26 that the mobile home is actually a 2014 model, with the bill of sale showing it was made to appear as a 2015 or 2016 model. We have all the paperwork and notes on everything that happened. Have you talked to a real estate attorney about this?
