I am a co-owner of a car with my ex in Florida. My name is first on the title and registration, and it says 'or' her name, meaning either of us can sell the car without the other's permission. The car is at her residence, and I want to sell it but am concerned about legal repercussions if I take the car without her permission. Can I legally take the car from her residence to sell it?

I am 72 years old and my husband has a drinking problem. I am concerned about what measures I should take to protect my assets if he should be in a car accident. We live in Oklahoma and nothing has been filed or reported yet.

My daughter was separated from her company and offered a lump sum severance in exchange for signing a separation agreement. She filed for unemployment the day after termination but hasn't signed the agreement yet. Can this agreement prevent her from receiving unemployment benefits, and what are the charges for discussing the points in the agreement with a lawyer?

I leased a car from an individual in Texas. I've paid as agreed, but there are unpaid tolls. The owner's spouse is threatening to report the car stolen, claiming I was given notice to return the car, which I was not. Is this legal, and what are my rights regarding returning the vehicle without proper notice?

I am dealing with a landlord-tenant issue in Arizona, specifically Greenlee County. The tenant is in arrears with rent and late charges, and one of the tenants gave a 30-day notice via text, which the other tenant claims to be unaware of. The tenant is past the exit date, and the police advised issuing a 5-day notice for eviction due to non-payment of rent. My main questions are: Can the 5-day notice be served and considered valid through electronic communication? Do I need to file anything with the court at this point? How do I proceed with a forcible detainer when I live out of state? Can I give someone power of attorney to handle the situation for me?

I am experiencing ongoing difficulties with my husband's daughter, Michelle, who has been a source of repeated financial and emotional support requests despite being a well-paid RN. Despite numerous attempts to help her make better choices and seek professional help, she continues to expect financial assistance and has recently engaged in Facebook harassment after being told no. My husband and I are approaching retirement age and have our own financial struggles, including recent medical expenses. We are seeking advice on how to protect ourselves from further harassment and manage this ongoing situation.
