I am a resident assistant at a university who used 8 dollars of floor funds at the minimart to buy drinks for three individuals. I signed the paper to transfer funds, and now my job is in jeopardy and they may press charges for theft or embezzlement. What is the penalty for this and should I be concerned? I had no premeditation of the matter.
