I am a small business owner of a Day Care. I discovered that one of my employees, who is from Brazil, allowed her work permit to expire. She is one of my best employees and is in the process of re-filing her work permit. My concern is about legal obligations should something happen while she is still employed at my center. Should I be concerned?

I am looking for a good Social Security attorney for my disability claim. I have had a back fusion, my whole neck is fused, a scattered joint in my arm, a plate and hinge in my left arm, 28 screws in my back, and I cannot sit, stand, or walk for long periods, nor can I lift heavy items. I am going to file for disability, but I was told I haven't worked enough quarters. There are people who get disability benefits without ever working, often because they are obese or on drugs. I also have problems with depression. Can you refer me to a good SSI/disability lawyer?
