I am a teacher being investigated because I let an elementary student braid my hair during recess and another student massaged my shoulders when I said I was stressed. The mother of the student that braided my hair complained to the principal, and I was put on paid leave while a detective investigates. I have always been a top teacher and want to know if I should seek counsel at this point.

We are a small business being sued for trademark infringement in federal court. We intend to settle and are close to a solution. However, the deadline to serve our Answer is approaching. We need to know: 1. If we serve the Answer via email and post mail to the opposing counsel on time, do we also need to file it with the court to avoid a default judgment? 2. Can we file the Answer with our local federal court instead of the distant one where the case was filed? 3. If we can't file it locally, can we file it via fax or email since we're not set up on the ECF system? 4. Should we file for a dismissal of the case since it was filed in the wrong county? 5. Can we file a motion for a Change of Venue via our local court, mail, or fax?

My grandson is 20, has no health insurance, and was unemployed at the time of a hospitalization for an unintentional overdose 2 months ago. He was hospitalized for several days with pneumonia in the ICU. He is now employed at a restaurant as a fry cook earning $10.00/hr. With all the bills related to this event, including EMS and doctor services, it is all overwhelming. How should we handle this?

I am a student from India. A professor at my institute has been harassing me (not physically) for a year. I have saved copies of the emails exchanged and need help on how to proceed against them. The harassment is affecting my studies seriously, and I am receiving threats and being framed. What actions can I take to address this mental harassment?

In a homeowner's insurance scenario, if a homeowner is found liable for a serious injury that leaves a worker disabled for life and in a wheelchair, and the homeowner has a policy limit of $300,000 and an umbrella policy limit of $1,000,000, would the homeowner be covered up to the combined limit of $1.3 million in each of three different cases where the homeowner is at fault? Additionally, if the homeowner hired an LLC that was required by law to carry workers' compensation insurance but did not, would this invalidate the homeowner's insurance?

My girlfriend has been taking Minastrin 24 E birth control and recently started taking Oxcarbazepine oral. Two months after starting Oxcarbazepine, her insurance notified her gynecologist that the medication reduces the effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives. We are concerned she might be pregnant. If she is, are there any potential malpractice concerns we can file a lawsuit for?
