I am going through litigation as the defendant. The plaintiff's attorney has made malicious and untrue statements about me, claiming litigator's privilege prevents me from suing him. Is he accurate, and are there exceptions or states that prohibit litigator's privilege? Additionally, I am being sued by a nonprofit with only one board member. My husband pays child support for 2 kids, with the paperwork filed in Illinois. His ex now lives in Arkansas, and we live in Colorado. His son has lived with us in Colorado since October 2016, but he continues to pay support for both children, including back support from periods he wasn't working. We have had issues with his son and contacted his ex about him moving back to Arkansas. We were then informed about an open investigation regarding my stepson and possible rape of his half-brother, who is 6. His ex wants to take him back to court to receive more support for just one child. What should we do?
