I attended a training school that no longer exists and was informed that my classes would count as college credits, which turned out to be incorrect. I graduated in 2003 and am now seeking new employment, but need to use services that were supposed to be available, such as job search assistance and skill refreshers. I am a successful real estate broker/developer who has been a victim of identity theft. Someone who looks like me has used my stolen credit cards and driver's license, leading to false arrest records and mug shots being associated with my name. This is severely affecting my business reputation and income. How can I remove these false arrest records and mug shot information from appearing when people search for me online? What civil rights are violated if a person is arrested based on another person's statement for embezzlement, given that the arrested person had full power of attorney (POA) and medical power of attorney (MPA), and the police officer never spoke with the arrested person, nor was the person properly processed from fingerprinting to being presented before a magistrate, and was taken directly to jail and to court the next day? The investigating officer called the next day after the arrest to speak with the arrested person.
