I gambled online at bovada.com and lost $2,000. I decided to call my credit card company for a chargeback because I felt cheated. They threatened to send a collection agency and damage my credit score. What should I do legally to protect myself, and should I dispute the charges with my credit card company?

In a legal case, the opposing party has filed a late response with additional substantiations and is demanding sanctions. The court hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. Is it possible for the court to strike the late response, and if the opposing party shows up to defend the OSC, does it mean they forfeit the right to demand personal service? Additionally, if the opposing party's affidavit is hearsay, what steps should be taken to address this issue?

My husband just got his second DUI, and we've been considering separation. We plan to sell the house in the spring. What should I do now? Should I file for separation to separate finances, or does that not matter? I'm concerned that if he goes to jail, he might lose his job, and I'll be responsible for all bills.

We engaged Northern Arizona Credit, Inc. (NAC) on 8/1/2016 to collect a balance of $1,821.46 from a $10,000 judgment. We received monthly payments from the debtor but they stopped. We then turned the balance over to NAC for collection services on 8/1/2016. We signed an agreement with NAC but have not heard from them and were informed they are not a collection agency. What are my options regarding NAC's non-performance?
