I had a bad experience with a urologist who used sexual innuendos and foul language during an exam, was very rude, and suggested I see another doctor if I felt 'violated.' I am considering filing a complaint with the medical board but am unsure if I should also take legal action. Should I file a complaint or sue, and are there grounds for suing?

In New York, Suffolk County, can I send my response to a complaint (motion to strike) via certified mail or does it have to be through a process server? If I send it via certified mail, do I need to include a return envelope for the court's stamped copy, and when is the deadline for filing my response?

My son got in trouble at his Texas high school, as defined by the student handbook. The school called the local chief of police to investigate, who determined no charges would be filed. The principal now wants to call this an on-campus matter, disregarding the police's opinion. Can they have it both ways, especially since the chief of police wrote a report and gave it to the local district attorney, who also determined the situation to be non-criminal?
