I have a restraining order (RO) against my daughter's father for domestic violence against me, not my daughter. We have been in contact, but I plan to cut off all communications starting today. I am in California, and the RO is criminal. He has prior felonies and multiple domestic violence cases, while I have no record. What are the repercussions for me for having contact, and what are the chances of him getting custody of our child, especially since she witnessed the violence and CPS is involved?

My friend's son was found dead, and his second wife, who he was separated from but never divorced, has taken possession of his car. The son was never divorced from his first wife. What legal actions can the first wife and the son's mother take to reclaim the car, especially if the second wife knew about the first marriage?

Our adult son fraudulently signed tax documents stating that an RV he bought belonged to his father, using his father's name without permission. This led to a tax judgement against my husband for the owed taxes. What should we do to resolve this situation, especially since we live in California but the forgery was committed in Indiana?

My ex has not paid child support since 2011, claiming his income is in an S corp. He dares me to take him to court, saying I will not get anything out of him by having all income in his S corp. He is a writer who gets paid for his screenplay writing and uses an accountant to file S corp tax & personal tax. Do I have a chance to win a court judgment for child support if I file the suit in California?

We are a small insurance firm that ordered medical records for a client. We received a bill for over $1800.00 for the records, which we sent back. We were never notified of the cost beforehand and were told that we legally have to pay. Do we have any grounds to dispute this charge?

I had a long-term affair with a married man, involving kissing and one instance of sex. What would happen if his wife involves me in their divorce court?
