I had an LLC with another person who filed for bankruptcy two and a half years ago. This week, the bank contacted me for payment of his business credit card debt, which was part of his bankruptcy settlement. Am I liable for that debt, especially if my signature is on the credit card application? The business was in Oregon, and I now live in New Mexico.

I have already sent her a non-threatening, well-crafted email informing her of my knowledge of the affair and its impact on our marriage. I am considering sending a final, non-threatening email for my closure, but I want to know if she could potentially claim harassment if she gets annoyed by it.

We are renting a house in Iredell County, North Carolina. Our landlord claims we did not pay rent for September, October, and November, but we deposited December's rent by cashier's check on December 5. My niece, who handles our finances, took the missing payments. The landlord is filing for eviction, and we want to know our rights and if this will affect our credit. I am a custodian in the public sector and have been experiencing constant harassment from my boss since joining the National Guard. He has manipulated my statements, increased my workload, and retaliated against me for not doing favors or kissing his ass. I am documenting and videotaping everything for protection but am unsure if this behavior constitutes harassment and if I should notify my boss to stop. Should I pursue legal action through the EEOC or a private attorney, and do I need to inform my boss to stop harassing me?
