I live in Louisiana and my neighbor cut large limbs from my oak tree, up to 8 feet inside my property line, after I had previously cut some limbs on my side. He claims I implied permission by saying 'feel free to do what you need to do.' I want to know how to seek justice for this trespass and damage to my property, and if I can claim loss of use and enjoyment, damage to surrounding plants, and mental anguish in a civil case.

I have an issue with ABC debt relief. They were supposed to represent me in a $7,000 lawsuit by Weltman Weinberg, but they stopped taking automatic payments from my account without notice. Despite my repeated calls and emails, ABC did not advise me that this could lead to a default, nor did they handle my account as promised. Now, Weltman is refusing my payment offers, and ABC is not taking any action. I want to know if I have a case against ABC for their negligence and failure to handle my legal matter promptly. Additionally, I want to know if I can sue ABC for $15,000 to cover the original debt, legal fees, stress, and misrepresentation by their representatives.

I rented a retail store where a fire rendered the strip mall untenable. The local village authority closed all the stores, and the property has not been renovated six months after the fire. My lease term is from May 1st, 2010, to April 30th, 2013. Is my lease terminated, and do I have any right to go back into the property when it is ready? There is a Fire and Casualty clause in my lease stating that if the Premises are rendered untenable by fire, explosion, or other casualty, the Lessor may terminate the lease or repair the Premises within sixty days. If the Lessor does not repair the Premises within this time, or if the building is wholly destroyed, the lease shall cease and terminate.

I am being threatened about a payday loan I know nothing about. My wages are being threatened to be garnished for a $250 debt which has escalated to $1,000. I have asked for proof but have been denied. Can PDR Collections garnish my wages, and if so, how can I stop this from happening?
