I am an Australian citizen and have been asked to pay $10,000.00 for Legal and Administration Fees for processing the sale of shares in the U.S. They have not itemized the fees and when I questioned this, I was told it was not necessary. Is this the right procedure? Also, is this amount rather extreme for handling my case from simply sending me emails to collect monies for derestriction of stock and withholding tax at 30% and now for administration fees?
