I received a letter stating I was found guilty of an ordinance violation for possessing an open container, but the letter is under my maiden name, which I haven't used in three years since I got married. Where do I start to address this issue?

In Pennsylvania, an 18-year-old boy left his computer at someone's house and was later charged with sexual abuse of a child, possession of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility. He made a plea bargain and pled guilty to criminal use of a communication facility, receiving 2 years of probation. Probation has classified him as a sex offender, which the individual believes is an attempt to punish him for the other charges. What is the legal basis for this classification?

I have been presented with a deed restriction after closing on my property, which stipulates that I can only build a stick-built brick house. This is more expensive than I anticipated, as I wanted to build a modular house. What legal action can I take, and isn't it the title company's responsibility to disclose all such restrictions before closing?

Is there a legal way to prevent a 15-year-old boy from visiting certain unsavory friends who engage in inappropriate behavior, including swearing and potential drug use, without physical threats, in Illinois?

I am a desperate old lady living in a condo in Hallandale, Florida, which has been invaded by Drywood Termites. I have replaced all my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and given away all my furniture. The condo board only has a contract with a pest control company for common areas. I cannot afford a treatment. Is there a condo law that protects me concerning the termites problem, especially since other tenants can afford treatments?

I own 120 acres on the Uncompahgre, bordered on the west by forest service land. The forest service resurveyed the fences a few years ago, and our west fence was relocated 100 feet or more to the east by their request. On the east side of our property, the fence should be moved the same amount, but the property owner on the east side won't let us move the fence over because he claims it has been there a long time. He can move his fence further east onto forest service land to the new pins the forest service set. I am losing several acres, and the man next to me is damaging the ground I own on the other side of the fence. What can I do?
