I have been presented with a deed restriction after closing on my property, which stipulates that I can only build a stick-built brick house. This is more expensive than I anticipated, as I wanted to build a modular house. What legal action can I take, and isn't it the title company's responsibility to disclose all such restrictions before closing?

I am a desperate old lady living in a condo in Hallandale, Florida, which has been invaded by Drywood Termites. I have replaced all my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and given away all my furniture. I own 120 acres on the Uncompahgre, bordered on the west by forest service land. The forest service resurveyed the fences a few years ago, and our west fence was relocated 100 feet or more to the east by their request. On the east side of our property, the fence should be moved the same amount, but the property owner on the east side won't let us move the fence over because he claims it has been there a long time. He can move his fence further east onto forest service land to the new pins the forest service set. I am losing several acres, and the man next to me is damaging the ground I own on the other side of the fence. What can I do?

My husband, a Navy Commander, fears the Navy will find out about an issue, but believes his rank will prevent discharge or loss of rank. However, he may lose retirement money and health services. If he does, a 'Contract' sounds better than nothing, which is what I will be left with if he loses everything. Should I consider a long divorce? He retires in 2 years.
