I was issued a citation for ordinance 287.262 for dogs running loose and killing a chicken in Michigan. This is my first offense. My dogs are not licensed, and I'm concerned about potential jail time and how licensing my dogs now might affect my case. Additionally, I'm considering getting rid of my dog due to ongoing issues with him running off. How should I proceed, and can getting rid of the dog be used as a bargaining chip in court?

I own a design agency and use ready-made templates from sites like Shutterstock for client projects. Shutterstock claims that while you can use their work, they still own the copyright. I cannot tell clients that we are using a template. How should I handle this legally? Should I state in my terms of service that copyright is not theirs, or if it is modified, can they claim copyright?

I have been in a 5-month-long dispute with my employer, involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. I was suspended after returning to the office for the first time in 3 weeks, despite working from home and taking care of my daughter. The suspension was due to alleged COVID policy violations, which I believe were not enforced consistently. I have already been on quarantine for two weeks due to my mother testing positive for COVID, and I have an open claim with the EEOC for discrimination. Can my employer legally require me to take another COVID test as a condition of continuing employment, and can I inform them that I believe the suspension is retaliation?
