I was pulled over for driving on a suspended license in New Jersey. I had paid the restoration fees but failed to pay a $65 ticket for the offense. My license is now restored, but I have a court date on 6/7. Should I have a lawyer for this, and what could be the possible outcomes?

Is any action brought against a medical doctor, deemed to be medical malpractice, even if the doctor is CEO of a huge non-profit (medical) transplant facility and the cause of action is intentional infliction of emotional distress (IIED), subject to a four-year statute of limitations? The origin of the offense resulting in the IIED cause was due to the plaintiff having been banned - not treated - by the CEO from the transplant facility unjustly. The Statute of Limitations (4 years vs. 2) is the issue.
