Ex-wife is trying to sue me in a civil case stemming from our divorce. She has filed contempt of court charges against me, but I haven't been served with the papers yet. I live in Missouri, she lives in Oklahoma. As long as I don't get served with the court papers, there is nothing she and her lawyer can do, correct?

My grandson is facing a child custody hearing in Texas. He and his estranged wife have been sharing custody of their 2 1/2-year-old son equally, but now she is withholding the child due to a dispute over daycare payments. What amount of child support might he be asked to pay, and does he have the right to see his son before the hearing?

I am a volunteer fire chief and have a landlord in my town who is ignoring this requirement. Do you know of any?
