I filed a broad, non-specific answer to an HOA complaint disputing back fees and requesting my day in court. Due to constraints, I didn't fully research and prepare an explicit response with all my affirmative defenses. Can I now file a motion to amend or supplement the original answer, or should I add all my objections and defenses in my motion to deny or dismiss the motion for summary judgment? We've searched for the notebook but can't find it. What should we do? Can they really pursue legal action against her, and will it affect her ability to get a job and be admitted to college?

A newspaper reporter accused me of falsifying my military service record, which includes five honorable discharges from five wars, including service in Iraq with the 1/4 Cavalry in 2009. I was seriously wounded when my Stryker vehicle was hit by an RPG. Despite having documents to prove my service, the reporter turned me in to the 'STOLEN VALOR BLOG,' which has accused me of being a 'STOLEN VALOR CANDIDATE FOR 2013.' They are deliberately destroying my reputation without verifying the facts. What legal recourse do I have to make them acknowledge my record and compensate for the damage to my reputation?
