In the state of Florida, as the mother of a 16-month-old child who was never married to the father, do I have the legal right to take her out of the state for Thanksgiving and return on Tuesday the 28th, especially since no paternity test was ever ordered but the father is on the birth certificate?

I have an American driving license but now live in England and only have a UK passport. How can I renew my license in the USA if I do not hold a visa anymore as this was only held when at college?

In New York, how can I obtain a divorce if my wife does not want to sign separation papers? We have been separated for 6 1/2 years and have 2 children. I have always supported my children and maintain a close relationship with them.

As an Optometrist (OD) and not an Ophthalmologist (MD), if I treat medical conditions of the eye within the scope of my license, can I legally and ethically advertise as a medical facility without an MD (Ophthalmologist) on staff?

I was married on August 19, 2006, in Michigan. After about a month, the marriage started to deteriorate. My spouse has not contributed financially to household bills as promised, and I have not seen him working on his claimed business. I am working 60-75 hours a week to support the household. How long do I have to annul the marriage, and what grounds do I need to get one? I feel he misrepresented himself and his occupation, and I believe I am being taken advantage of. We now live in New York.

We have been divorced for 4 years. My wife gets half of my Teamsters pension, which is $350 per month as spousal support. I received a letter from her attorney stating that if she dies, the support would continue to be paid to my daughter, who is in her 40s and a millionaire. I thought support would end upon her death or remarriage. Can this be so, and if it can, could I demand that half of the support go to my daughter and half to my son?
