Is there an example of legal case law that would prohibit the use of unjust enrichment for a physician trying to enter a surgical center? My understanding is that it is not applicable here and would violate the law, but I need an example of case law.

I have had 8 Morton's surgeries on the same foot, and now the foot is dead (no feeling, cold and burns, can't wear a shoe). Should I sue the surgeon, and do I have a claim for nerve damage?

I’m an AF retiree and landlord. My tenant, a very low-income woman, and her sister, a GS-12, signed a lease. They quickly had trouble paying the rent, with the GS-12 promising to pay all back rents when she got her Fed tax refund. After serving a NTV, the occupying sister vacated. Back rent owed is $5200, not including late fees. Is there a way to compel the GS-12 to pay, short of suing in civil court? Is nonpayment of debt a violation of civil service personnel regs? The property is in Texas, and the GS-12 had a bankruptcy discharged about 9 years ago and seems savvy regarding avoiding payment.

Can I make a counterclaim to a breach of contract complaint by a student who is suing my company for insufficient training when virtual training was completed, and what are the possible legal actions I can take against the student and third party for their actions, including conspiracy, defamation, invasion of privacy, and emotional distress?

I was employed with an organization in Knoxville. I was falsely accused of possessing a weapon that wasn't mine, resulting in me missing work. Upon returning, I informed my employer of the pending charges (not convictions). My supervisor asked for a detailed account and my lawyer's contact info. I was sent home and later suspended without pay. I was then given the option to resign or be terminated, which I chose to avoid a mark on my employment history. The organization assured me I wouldn't be labeled as non-rehire even if I proved my innocence. They didn't provide an explanation for my release and I didn't request additional time off. Do you believe this is grounds for pursuing a lawsuit for wrongful constructive termination?
