My daughter lives in WA. At the urgings of her fiancé, she bought a house, some property, and a dog. He could not be a cosigner for either property due to his bad credit, but he agreed to help with the payments. Now he has broken their engagement, taken her ring, and sold it. He also reneged on promises to help with the dog's vet bills and special dietary food. I am encouraging her to take him to court. What sort of lawyer should she see and is there any advice you can give her?

I am an Australian citizen and have been asked to pay $10,000.00 for Legal and Administration Fees for processing the sale of shares in the U.S. They have not itemized the fees and when I questioned this, I was told it was not necessary. Is this the right procedure? Also, is this amount rather extreme for handling my case from simply sending me emails to collect monies for derestriction of stock and withholding tax at 30% and now for administration fees?

I participated in a yearly education assistance program for pharmacy students from Walgreens 4 years ago. After graduation, I was unable to secure a position with Walgreens despite interviewing and following up. Now, six months after graduation, I received a letter stating I owe Walgreens $7000 for not completing the contract. Is there any chance I can fight this, considering Walgreens did not offer me a job despite my efforts?
