I called the finance company and asked if they could rewrite my loan since my vehicle was half paid for. I was a little short that month, so I offered $160 instead of the full $250 payment, which they accepted. I told them I would pay the rest when my income tax check came in. However, a tow company took my car after the finance company accepted the partial payment. Did the creditor commit a breach of peace?
