Additionally, the flood restoration company used my outlets without permission, left the apartment unlocked, and unplugged my security camera. The apartment had a strong smell of urine when I arrived after the incident, and water was leaking in multiple places. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I receive project-based rent assistance. I was also threatened with eviction for not paying rent, despite always paying on time, and I had to fight the eviction in court.
