I want to get a second opinion on a non-compete agreement. I am considering leaving my current company to work for a similar company and would like to know if the non-compete would prevent me from doing so.

Hello, since VFWs are independent entities, what if a VFW tells a DJ, who is not a member, to throw you out based on lies that the DJ told about you? Do you sue the VFW or the DJ, and what kind of suit do you bring? Also, what kind of lawyer do you need or do you need a lawyer? I didn’t lose anything monetarily, but I did lose the ability to go back there and have a meal and dance, and my reputation took a hit. The DJ didn’t like me in the first place and then he lied about me in order to get me thrown out.
