Hello, since VFWs are independent entities, what if a VFW tells a DJ, who is not a member, to throw you out based on lies that the DJ told about you? Do you sue the VFW or the DJ, and what kind of suit do you bring? Also, what kind of lawyer do you need or do you need a lawyer? I didn’t lose anything monetarily, but I did lose the ability to go back there and have a meal and dance, and my reputation took a hit. The DJ didn’t like me in the first place and then he lied about me in order to get me thrown out.

My son was ticketed for an expired registration in Ithaca, NY, in October 2014. He now needs proof that the car was registered in Louisiana to lift a suspension on his license. I have a case in Federal Court for fraud. The owner of the company was released from prison and not allowed to own a business. He claimed the machine I had was his. After discovering the defendant's criminal status and business ownership restriction, I filed my suit. However, the judge has halted the case and will not rule on Summary Judgment. Is there any way I can get the judge to rule?
