My son, a college student, was sent to a mental hospital by his school without informing me, his family member, despite living in another state. I was unable to file a missing person report due to residency issues and had to rely on the school to disclose his location. The hospital also took his cell phone and did not advise him to contact his family. Does the college have the right to withhold this information from his family, and does the hospital have the right to take his cell phone and not advise him to contact his family?

I was misdiagnosed with MS and took interferons for over a year, only to be told by an MS specialist that I have sjogren's syndrome. My body feels numb, I can't walk without assistance, and I can't sit up for longer than a few hours. I was informed that the interferons caused my body to attack my brain and spine. What legal options do I have?

I live in Georgia and my ex also lives in Georgia. He's paying child support to me for our 6-month-old, and he's also paying for a 10-year-old in New York. Why is the New York child receiving more support than my child? Is it because of the child's age or because she lives in New York? Also, does he have to pay back child support for his child in New York? Georgia doesn't require back child support payments, and he's a resident here.
