We have two scenarios: I move out into my brother's house, or we divide time by me being gone a week at a time and my wife being gone a week at a time with her parents. The kids stay in our house. I have a service-oriented drafting company. My employee of 4 1/2 years is making major mistakes that are costing the company thousands of dollars. His personal issues seem to be affecting his performance. Can I legally keep his vacation and sick pay to cover these costs, and what are the legal implications if I cannot pay him what he is owed upon termination?
