On December 31, 2007, I was unable to go to work due to health issues, including dehydration and vomiting. This was not the first time I went to work in this condition; it had been ongoing for about two and a half weeks. My supervisor saw me in this poor condition but did not show consideration. The doctor advised bed rest, which I informed my supervisor about, but he hired someone else instead. I filed for unemployment, and it is now in appeals. My employer claims I abandoned the job when I couldn't work due to my health. What strategies can I use to win my appeal?
