On Nov 27, 2011, my wife and I entered into a membership agreement with a sports club, where my wife was to be a member and I was to pay for the membership. The sales manager explained that my wife could use the club and bring up to two guests, and I could go as her guest. I signed the contract with only my name, and my wife was given a membership card with both our pictures. My wife has been using the club regularly since then, but on May 22, 2012, she was denied entry and told she was not a member. Despite our attempts to resolve this with the club, they refused to honor the original agreement. Do I have a case to sue the club for breach of contract to restore my wife's membership, refund the membership fees since May 22, 2012, compensate for my wife's stress, and remove the staff involved in the breach?

I have a settlement amount of $187,500.00. My lawyer is paying a $70,000.00 medical lien and a $25,000.00 payment. I believe the normal firm rate is 30% of my settlement, which amounts to $62,500.00 for Legal Fees. They are also taking out $175.00 for Outside Document Services Fees and $408.67 for Administrative Costs (Copies, medical records, postage). That leaves me with a balance of $99,416.33. Are these numbers and the other deductions the lawyer made correct, according to the law? The lawyer is acting kind of shady, like relocating without informing me. I can not get him on the phone. The receptionist told me he did not know the new address and to call him back. I have close to $100,000.00 coming to me and I do not want some hairbrained lawyer running off with it. I need help here. I thought about calling the Atlanta Bar and reporting him. I have been calling to find out if my check has come in. At our last meeting, the lawyer told me it should be about 45 days. What should I do in this situation, when the lawyer is noncommunicative, but he is handling my settlement?
