I have been caring for my 83-year-old mother, who has become angry with me and my daughter for not supporting her untruthfulness. She has changed the locks to her house and removed me from anything associated with her. She has a handwritten will that is not notarized. What are my legal rights if she were to die, and do I have any rights to access the house legally? The house is in my deceased father's name, and he did not have a will. My mother-in-law had her car repossessed because the insurance company didn't respond fast enough to confirm her insurance and the lender claimed she was in default for non-payment, even though payments were in their mail unopened. Now she has to pay $2100 to the tow company to get her vehicle back. Would she have any claim for damages for them doing this to her?
