I have been experiencing sinus burning since November 2nd, with pain, redness, and crustiness in my nostril. I completed a round of antibiotics in December, which relieved some sinus pressure but did not eliminate the symptoms. Recently, I found a swollen, pea-sized lump under my jaw, possibly a lymph node. Could this be related to my sinus issues? I have an appointment with an ENT, but I'm experiencing health anxiety about this being something serious. What are your thoughts?

I have been experiencing constant lower abdominal pain for 3 months, centralized in the prostate/rectal area, which worsens with car rides due to bumps. I have undergone multiple scans and tests (CT scans, spinal MRIs, upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, prostate biopsy) that show no significant findings except for slight nerve impingement in the lumbar area and mild irritation. I am taking painkillers (percocet, oxycodone) and am most comfortable lying flat on my back. I also have no spleen, no appendix, and only one fully functional kidney due to a previous cancerous tumor removal. I am concerned about the lack of relief and quality of life despite seeing multiple specialists. What could be causing this pain, and what further tests or treatments should I consider?

I also have severe psoriasis and am waiting to start methotrexate. I have a mild pain in the center of my abdomen occasionally and a slightly raised red blood cell count on a recent blood test, which the doctor is not worried about. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

I have had lymphedema for 23 years from node dissection and now have a second cancer in the same breast. I need to know what precautions can be taken to prevent infection during surgery. I have a small, localized, early-detected tumor. When I asked the surgeon if I should take antibiotics before the surgery to prevent an infection, he said to worry about it if it happened. I have a standing order for antibiotics if I ever get an infection, and I have been very careful with my arm, but I won't be in control during surgery.
