My husband is a 76-year-old farmer with thin skin that bruises and tears easily. His daily medications include Metformin, Olmesartan, Amlodipine, and Benzonatate. He has been using Metformin for about 10 years, but it hasn't helped his skin condition. He has seen a doctor, who attributed it to his age. I have been experiencing sharp, severe abdominal pain high up near my ribs and sternum, accompanied by sweats, increased saliva, and occasional acid-like burning sensations. The pain started yesterday evening and has become more frequent and severe, occurring almost constantly. I have a history of SLE, tah bso r/t cancer, and a loop recorder. I have tried an acid reducer without relief. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have a swollen scrotum around the testicles with no surgery and no pain. What can I do for the swelling? I have been taking my blood pressure pill this morning. How long will the swelling take to go down? I have had no surgery and no pain, just swelling around the testicles. I have a double hernia for over 15 years with no pain.

I had sex on May 12th using a condom and birth control, but I wasn't consistent with the birth control. I took Plan B on May 14th and started bleeding on May 18th. I took another Plan B a week later and started spotting two weeks after that. I'm due for my period in about 10 days. Could the bleeding and spotting be my period or side effects from Plan B? What are my chances of being pregnant? I've also experienced sore breasts that suddenly stopped hurting and noticed my breasts look bigger. Is this normal?

I have been sick with food poisoning and haven’t been able to eat, and I haven't been able to take my Effexor and Lamictal for two days. Today, I am able to eat just a little and am wondering if I will be okay to take my meds if my stomach has just a very small amount of food in it. I have been taking Effexor for about 14 years with no recent changes in dosage, and my sleep has been okay except for vomiting on Tuesday. Is there anything else in my medical history that the psychologist should know?
