I started Zumba classes two weeks ago and love it, but my knee swells, holds fluid, and hurts for a couple of days after the class. Is it okay to continue the class? Should I wear a brace? What kind?

I have an underactive thyroid and have been taking 150mg of medication daily for 15 years. Despite a healthy diet, I have been steadily gaining weight and find it difficult to lose weight. What could be causing this, and is my medication dose considered low or high? My diet typically includes fiber cereal for breakfast, soup or salad for lunch, and a hot meal for dinner. I also exercise regularly with my dog.
