Hypothetically, if you have a thrush-type infection in the sinus, can this infection spread down into the gum tissue and cause thrush-type sores on the roof of the mouth, particularly near a bicuspid? Additionally, what tests or treatments might be helpful in diagnosing and managing such an infection, especially if it involves potential fungal elements?
