I am looking for an endocrinologist or a surgeon who specializes in hyperparathyroidism with extreme symptoms, preferably in Canada. I need someone who has experience and knowledge in this area, as I have been experiencing severe symptoms such as extreme exhaustion, insomnia, irritability, electrolyte imbalance, bone thinning, nervousness, heart arrhythmias, difficulty breathing, weakness, confusion, inability to concentrate, memory loss, drowsiness, anxiety, agitation, muscle spasms, tremors, bone pain, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, disorientation, loss of interest, feeling weak, depression, constipation, and suicidal thoughts. I have had a parathyroid scan in 2001 showing a parathyroid adenoma, but the surgeon refused to operate. I am now dealing with additional symptoms and need a professional who can provide the necessary treatment.

I am 26 years old, pregnant with my second child, and have been diagnosed with hepatitis C and syphilis. I have also been addicted to Panadein Forte for seven years, which I started taking after quitting speed. I need guidance on how to quit Panadein Forte, find the best rehab for my situation, and understand if these conditions are affecting my unborn child and my current daughter.

I am a 77-year-old male weighing 63 kg. I have been taking various medications including Lipitor, Asaphen, Apo-Metoprolo, Apo-ticlopidine, Imdur, and Hytrin. I experience brief heart tightness when sitting or bending my head. I also have shaking fingers and am concerned about the necessity of my medications and potential side effects. What could be the cause of my symptoms, and what tests or changes in medication would you recommend?

I'm 67 years old and weigh about 99lbs. My blood pressure has been in the 120 to 140 range, but it goes up to 164 when I visit the doctor. Two weeks ago, I was prescribed Lisinopril 10mg, which I split in half to take 5mg daily. Now, my blood pressure readings are around 96/60 to 104/65. Is this too low? I have COPD, colitis, chronic sinus issues, and year-round allergies. I occasionally feel dizzy with sinus pressure headaches and sometimes short of breath due to COPD.

I have angioedema and am completely deficient in C2, but have normal CF100. Does this mean I have no chance of having lupus? What is the implication of no C2 but normal CF100?

My husband was just diagnosed with the beginning stages of Parkinson's. How do they know it is Parkinson's and not something else?
