I ate a large amount of Mexican peppers a month ago, and since then, I've had a burning sensation in my abdomen on the right side near the upper rib cage, causing severe pain and discomfort. I've tried yogurt, ginger ale, and milk, but nothing seems to help. Additionally, my mouth is always dry, my urine is yellow with a lot of mucus, and sometimes there's blood in my nose and throat. I also find it difficult to lay on my stomach, sit for long, or stand; the only comfortable position is kneeling on my bed. What could be causing this, and what can I do to alleviate the pain and discomfort?

I am a transgender FTM since 1983. I had my breasts removed in 1994, and I am currently experiencing pain in my ovaries and need to have them removed. However, I am on Medicare and my status is listed as Male, which prevents me from finding a doctor who can perform the surgery and have Medicare cover it. I am on a fixed income with permanent disability/social security. How can I get Medicare to cover the surgery despite my status being Male?

I am having difficulty eradicating small bowel bacterial overgrowth even after antibiotic regimens. I have had several H2 breath tests which continue to indicate very high levels of methane but virtually no hydrogen. I am a well-controlled type 1 diabetic for 24 years with an average A1c of 6.0 and no complications. I have mild fat in stool, slightly high but not significantly out of range, and bowel movements are consistently on the softer side. What has to be done to successfully get this accomplished, and what are your impressions and thoughts?

I have severe insomnia and have tried Ambien, which works half the time. I recently started taking Trazodone, but I'm unsure about the best dosage and timing. Some suggest taking it 2 hours before bed, while others say 30 to 90 minutes before bed or even right at bedtime. I've been taking 50mg for two weeks, but I only sleep about 2 days a week for 3 hours, and on other days, I don't sleep at all. What is the correct dosage and timing for Trazodone to help with my insomnia?
