I am a 75-year-old female experiencing drooling, both during the day and at night, despite not having any tremors or shaking. I am currently taking multiple medications and have an autoimmune condition called Wegener's Granulomatosis, which has caused me to lose much of my hearing and has led to some balance problems. I have a friend who got a cold sore on his lip today. There's a chance he sipped from a can of soda I later sipped from. He had an active sore on his lip which seemed to be dark maroon as if it was healing. Just wanted to make sure chances of transmission if he directly sipped from soda or touched it after touching his sore.
