I had a major back surgery and became dependent on pain medication, specifically oxycodone. I went through a detox and had a rough time, with the 3rd and 4th days being the worst. After 6 days of not taking anything and starting to improve, I started taking oxycodone again for 5 days and now want to quit for good. Will I go through the same severe withdrawals as before, or will it be easier since I quit for 6 days and have only been back on for 5 days?

If you've only been on oxycodone for five days after a 6-day break, it will likely be easier to stop...

I've been feeling very fatigued for the last two days, with a constant feeling of tiredness. I've also been sneezing a lot, have a tickling throat, and a stuffy nose, but no fever. I'm 19 years old and not currently using any medications. What could be causing this and what can I do about it?

I had a major hernia surgery 5 days ago. My dressing was soaked with fluid and blood today, and I sneezed a few times. The staples look intact, and there is no visible leakage. I am 39 years old, taking Ibuprofen 600 and Tylenol. The blood is more like altered, dark, and mixed with fluid. I have tolerable pain, no fever or chills, and my temperature is 99.4°F. I do not have diabetes and was on a muscle relaxer for 3 days, which ended yesterday afternoon. What should I do?

I've been experiencing swelling that comes and goes, with little to no pain, after following your advice for a little over 24 hours. Is this normal? Additionally, I have hypertension and take vitamin supplements. I am 38 years old and have had this issue for a little over a week. The problem worsens when I walk for long periods or stand for 12-13 hours at work, especially in cold conditions. I have an appointment with a doctor on Tuesday. Have you noticed any pain or changes in color or temperature? I tried Tylenol Arthritis as suggested, and the color changed, possibly due to my eczema. The pain occurs only when I am on my feet for long hours at work, and there is no change in temperature.

I have concerns about lung cancer and throat issues. I have had a clean thorax CT scan, normal blood counts, and no significant symptoms during physical activities. However, I experience throat clearing, occasional wheezing, and slight stabbing discomfort in the chest. My ENT doctor diagnosed me with chronic pharyngitis. Is it safe to rule out malignancy or serious lung disease, and are these throat symptoms due to chronic pharyngitis and GERD?
