I had my cortisol levels and ACTH tested in the afternoon a couple of months back, and they were in the normal range. My morning cortisol level was borderline high two days ago. With a higher level in the morning, is it possible I have Cushing syndrome? Or because my levels go down in the afternoon, is that unlikely? Would I need further testing like a late-night cortisol test to tell?

I have a marked tortuous sigmoid colon, splenic flexure, and transverse colon. Is this bad? Can it be fixed? I have occasional constipation and am very depressed about this.
