I have a concern about a focal asymmetry found on a recent mammogram by a new radiologist, which was not detected by my original radiologist. My original breast surgeon's office reviewed the images and said there is nothing to worry about. However, I am still concerned if the surgeon reviewed the actual images or just the reports. Should I be worried about this focal asymmetry, and would a radiologist typically review the actual images again if another radiologist found something different?
