I have a hard, fixed immovable lump at the very corner of my jaw joint. It feels like part of the bone, is not visible, and is about the size of a grain of rice. I have had it for months and it doesn't hurt unless I poke and squeeze it. My jaw joint stiffens and clicks when I open my mouth after poking at the area. I also have osteoarthritis in my knees. Should I be worried about this lump, and what could it be?

I have red, raised, itchy eruptions on my back, arms, and hands, occasionally on my hands. They are about the size of a dime, raised, bright pink, and itchy. I have been dealing with skin irritations for several months, and the latest manifestation is different from the first and is getting worse. I have tried hydrocortisone and cetirizine hydrochloride 20 mg daily since January 15, but it hasn't helped much. I am 73 years old, healthy, and active. What could be causing these eruptions, and what can I do to alleviate the symptoms?

I noticed a burning sensation in the upper area between my buttocks today, especially when I wipe. The area is red and there's a white spot. I use wipes regularly. Should I be worried, and is there anything I can do to alleviate the discomfort?

My son was diagnosed with Herpes (HSV-2) a year ago and has never had symptoms or outbreaks. Recently, he experienced penile discharge and tested positive for Gonorrhea, despite having no recent sexual contact. He is devastated and isolated due to the Herpes diagnosis and fears infecting others. What could be causing the discharge, and is it possible for the Herpes virus to affect the accuracy of the Gonorrhea test or cause it to lie dormant?

I had an unprotected sexual encounter four months ago and have since tested for every STD. My tests were negative for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, and syphilis at various intervals. Is there any chance I could still transmit an STD to my partner? Are my test results 100% reliable and conclusive? If both of us are clean, is there still a risk of STD transmission if we don't see anyone else?

I'm 29 years old and missed getting the Gardasil vaccine in school. I've heard conflicting opinions about its effectiveness for people over 27. My mom has had cervical cancer, and I'm considering getting the vaccine, but I'm concerned about its cost and effectiveness for my age. Should I still get the Gardasil vaccine?
