I have a history of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (afib) controlled with sotalol 80 mg twice a day. I rarely experience afib, but I do have benign premature atrial contractions (PACs) in sinus rhythm. This morning, I woke up in afib with a heart rate of about 80 (normally 60) and blood pressure of 128/69. The afib lasted about an hour and then stopped. I played golf later and felt fine. What do you think is going on, and is it unusual to have an occasional afib episode even with sotalol?

I have been experiencing head pressure, lightheadedness, dizziness, and heart palpitations for a few months. An MRI showed a tiny cyst in my sinus, and I am awaiting blood test results. What could be causing these symptoms, and is intracranial pressure a likely possibility?

I am experiencing a variety of symptoms including body aching, fatigue, loss of smell, tremors in my left arm, hand, and shoulder, a need to constantly move, stiffness, trouble falling asleep, anxiety, depression, constipation, diarrhea, occasional visual issues, cognitive decline, and global brain parenchymal atrophy with periventricular and subcortical white matter hyperintensities. I am a 40-year-old female and have been tracking these symptoms over the past year. I have had MRIs, CAT, and PET scans, and I am currently on Effexor for headaches. What could be causing these symptoms and what further tests or treatments should I consider?

I had a lipid panel test done, and I'm unsure about some of the results, such as 'HDL not calculated' and 'VLDL low.' Can you help me understand what these mean and if they are concerning?

I am a healthy 38-year-old man. I have been experiencing a strange sensation of numbness/tingling in one spot on my upper left abdomen, just below my left ribcage. The sensation usually lasts for about a second and comes and goes all day. I am not able to go to the doctor any time soon. What could this be and should I be concerned about it potentially being related to my spleen, pancreas, or other organs?
