I am experiencing body cramps and have been taking Magnesium supplements for 6 months. The cramping has recently subsided after starting acupuncture. What else can I do to manage my symptoms, and should I consider taking additional supplements like Vitamin D?

I recently was diagnosed with sigmoid diverticulitis via a CT scan, showing a small microperforation and small lymph nodes. I am 33 years old and concerned if this could be something other than diverticulitis. I am currently taking antibiotics (Cipro and Flagyl) and my primary care physician has recommended a colonoscopy in 6-8 weeks. Should I be worried about the lymph nodes, and is the colonoscopy recommendation standard protocol?
