I took Cialis, Verapamil, and I'm on weed. Am I going to die?

I recently was diagnosed with sigmoid diverticulitis via a CT scan, showing a small microperforation and small lymph nodes. I am 33 years old and concerned if this could be something other than diverticulitis. I am currently taking antibiotics (Cipro and Flagyl) and my primary care physician has recommended a colonoscopy in 6-8 weeks. Should I be worried about the lymph nodes, and is the colonoscopy recommendation standard protocol?

I have a cold sore under my lip that is spreading slowly and has yellow crust when dried. I've been applying an anti-bacterial cream, but I'm unsure if it's really a cold sore. I have been experiencing a sore throat for a few days, which has worsened due to a cold. I have been coughing a lot and having trouble speaking regularly. The throat feels full and dry. I also had chills, congestion, and a fever last week. I am 35 years old and have not had chest pain or shortness of breath. I need a doctor's note for missing work today. What can I do for my symptoms and how can I obtain a doctor's note?
