I am on my last night of using metronidazole gel to treat BV. Taking the gel has caused me a lot of cramping over the past few days. Is it risky to drink alcohol tomorrow afternoon, and should I be concerned about bleeding after being fingered and for a few days afterward?

I have a twinge-type pain below my left rib cage that just started today and is intermittent. I haven't taken any medication for it and haven't seen a doctor. My full blood work is perfect, and I generally have good health for an 83-year-old who is fit. My typical blood pressure is 125/70, heart rate is usually 54, and I have very mild hypertension taking 50 mg of metoprolol. My fasting glucose is usually 97 to 99 in the mornings. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?

I had Nissen Fundoplication surgery and have experienced gurgling sounds when I swallow, especially when lying down. This has been happening for two years post-surgery, even without taking PPIs or Gaviscon. Is this gurgling normal and related to the wrap, or should I consider going back on PPIs or H2 blockers?

I was at the park about a week ago playing with some kids and now I have pinworms. I have taken over-the-counter pinworm medication but it's not helping. The itching and scratching in the anus area is very uncomfortable and irritating. I have tried garlic and the tape test, finding a bunch of them. What else can I do to get rid of these pinworms?
