I used minoxidil for facial hair growth and experienced abnormal results, including rapid beard growth, fatigue, nausea, and eventually GERD-like symptoms that persist over a year and a half after stopping minoxidil. I also experienced swollen nodes, fatigue, joint pain, hair loss, vomiting, diarrhea, itching, yellow semen, and blurry vision around the same time, all of which have not subsided. I have tested negative for HIV and other STIs, and my bloodwork and autoimmune tests are normal. I am concerned that minoxidil may have caused these issues and am anxious about my hair loss and potential need for a hair transplant. What could be causing these symptoms and how can I address them?

I have had a 103 fever for a week, flu symptoms, and mouth sores for several days. Last night, my right side upper neck swelled, and this morning, both sides are swollen, with under-tongue swelling and constant dull pain along with sharp shooting pains. I look deformed due to the swelling. I have no numbness, but nausea has returned. I have a history of GERD, esophageal dilations, strictures, an underactive thyroid on levothyroxine, but no recent issues with these conditions. What could be causing this swelling and pain?
