I have been feeling very tired, sleeping a lot, with aches and pains in my lower back, arms, and legs. I feel cold, but when I warm up, I itch all over. My skin is very dry and flaky, and my nails are very brittle. I am constipated and can't concentrate very well. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests should I consider?

Had sex with a prostitute using a condom, but the condom fell off and I went inside her a few times. Is there a chance to get an STD?

After being sick for 4 years, I ended up in an adrenal crisis last September. I started on Synthroid in October and at 100mcg, my doctor added 25mcg of Cytomel last month. This improved some symptoms, but I still have relentless fatigue and low energy. I cannot work and my marriage is dissolving. What could we possibly be missing?

I have been experiencing internal vaginal itching, reduced in severity, and widespread body itching, particularly on my face, which feels tight and dry. Blood tests and a recent STD test came back negative. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do next?

I have been experiencing hormone problems for 4 years, including irregular periods, weight gain, cold hands and feet, constipation and diarrhea, joint and eye inflammation, white spots on shoulders, painful intercourse, and decreased interest in sex. My progesterone is 1, estrogen is 260 (on day 21 after an irregular period), and I am very bloated with most of the weight on my tummy. I am a personal trainer and exercise a lot but cannot lose weight. I have a family history of thyroid issues but my blood tests are normal. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests or treatments should I consider?

A young adult has developed painful, reddish-purple, golf ball-sized lumps on the back of the head, near the scalp, and behind the ear. The lumps have increased in number and there are also swollen anterior cervical lymph nodes. The individual has been treated with a sulfonamide antibiotic but the condition has not improved. What could be the diagnosis and what further steps should be taken?
